Terms of use

These terms apply to everyone using this site and our grant administration service.

1. About this site

Northbridge Awards International administers individual grant applications on behalf of Universal Grant Income. This site is an intake and information portal. It does not sell anything, lend money, or take payment.

2. No fee, no purchase

No purchase or payment is necessary to apply, be assessed, or receive an award, and nothing is deducted from an award. Any demand for money in our name is fraudulent and should be reported.

3. Submitting an application

Submitting the form opens an application; it is not a decision and creates no entitlement to funds. You must apply on your own behalf, and the information you provide must be accurate and complete. Applications containing false information are void.

4. Assessment and verification

We assess each application against the published eligibility criteria and may ask for reasonable confirmation of identity, address, need or the cost itself, through a secure channel. We may decline an application that cannot be verified, that falls outside the criteria, or where funding for the round is exhausted.

5. Funder criteria take precedence

Each funding round has its own published criteria, income bands and deadlines set by the funder. Where this site and those criteria differ, the funder's criteria for the round apply.

6. Local law

The programme is open only where lawful, to residents of the United States, Canada and Australia. Regional detail is summarised on the regions page. Recipients are responsible for any tax due on an award in their own jurisdiction.

7. Limits of liability

We provide this site as-is and are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from its use, or from delays caused by incorrect contact details. Nothing here limits rights you have under consumer law that cannot be excluded.

8. Changes

We may update these terms to reflect changes in law or process. The version published here at the time you submit an application governs that application.
